Our facility provides your pet with a clean, safe, and stress-free environment. Each attendant has been thoroughly trained in pet care and must meet certain pet care requirements to qualify for a position with Sunnybrook.
Dogs
Dogs are assigned to their own inside and outside runs. Inside and outside runs are separated by a plexiglass door that is attached to a levee system, which allows kennel attendants to open the door without having to step inside the kennel. Runs vary by pet size and if your pets are staying together in the same run. The outside run is covered and is longer than the inside to allow more movement for your pet(s) to do their business. The inside has heat and AC.
We offer a quiet room for the older and less active pets. The room is located in the main building, which allows the staff to keep a closer eye on your pet(s).
We do not require temperament testing. We accept all breeds, unaltered and aggressive pets. Therefore, we DO NOT intermingle pets unless they are from the same household.
Everything is provided for dogs, this includes water & food dishes, bedding, toys, treats and food. If your pet is on a special diet or has a sensitive stomach, we recommend that you bring your pet's own food and/or treats.
Before your pet(s) can board, we will need proof of up-to-date Rabies, Bordetella, & Distemper/Parvo. Please provide either a paper or a fax/email from your vet with the pet's name and the expiration date for each vaccine. Shot records can be emailed to sunnybrookbgk@yahoo.com.
*Rabies tags will not be accepted as proof of rabies.*
New clients will be asked to pay a $50 deposit at the time of drop off. This $50 deposit will come off your bill at the end of the stay, and you will be required to pay the outstanding balance, if any remains.
Out of state clients will be asked to provide additional information such as a copy of a valid driver's license, in-state address where they will be staying, and may be asked to pay a larger deposit or to pay the whole bill at the time of drop off.
On the day of drop off, owners are asked to fill out a boarding contract. When filling out the boarding contract, you will be able to elect for additional charges (extra play time and/or exit bath, etc.)
All pets are combed and checked for fleas at check-in for every visit. If your pet has fleas, they will be given a flea or Dawn bath. Pets scheduled for an exit bath on the day of pickup, there will be an automatic $5.00 added to the bath price. If your pet is NOT scheduled for an exit bath, there will be additional charges added to your account. The price added varies on your pet size.
(Small dog: $19.00 Medium Dog: $24.00 Large Dog: $27.00)
Boarding rates go into effect the day you drop off, regardless of time.

(Dogs staying together in the same run will receive $1.50 off one pet per day)

Small Dog (1-25lbs): $25.00
Medium Dog (26-50lbs): $30.00
Large Dog (51-75lbs): $35.00
XL Dog (76-100lbs): $40.00
XXL Dog (101+lbs): $45.00
(Baths are at an extra cost. Exit baths include nail trim, ear cleaning and brushing. )
Cats
Cats are located in a room near the front of the facility. They have their own 5x2x3 cages. Litter boxes and food/water dishes are cleaned twice a day. While the cages are being cleaned, the cats are let out in the room. Cats are never let out at the same time unless from the same family. Food/Treats, water/food dishes, litter boxes, toys & bedding are provided. If your pet is on a special diet or has a sensitive stomach, we recommend that you bring your pet's own food and/or treats.

Pocket Pets/Reptiles/Birds
We do take small pocket pets and reptiles. All necessary supplies and equipment will need to be provided by the owner. This includes cages, bedding, food/treats, water/food containers and toys. We ask that you provide a detailed description for feeding, cleaning, and caring of your pet.
Pocket Pets/Reptiles/Birds (no weight limit): $10.00 per day/per pet
Medications
If your pet requires medication, there will be a daily charge.
Insulin Injections: $6.00 per day
Other Medications (pills, ointment, ear/eye drops, etc): $3.00 per day
Boarding charges are assessed daily beginning on the day of check-in, regardless of time. With the exception of Sundays and Holidays, pets picked up before 2:00PM on the
day of discharge will not be charged for that day. Pets picked up after 2:00PM
will be charged for a full day of boarding.
Any pets that are picked up on Sundays or a Holiday (if open)
WILL be charged for a FULL day of boarding.
We ask that any pet(s) that are being dropped of for boarding be dropped off at least 30 minutes before closing so that we are able to get it pet(s) setup and situated for the evening.
